Student's view

So where is the lesson? Is it in the duality of the situation, somewhere between the "Oh my God" and the "Thank God"? Is it in understanding that, even with this setback, I'm more fortunate than 90% of the world's population? Perhaps the lesson lies in not getting my hopes up, or counting my chickens before thery're hatched.... But maybe, just maybe, the lesson is knowing that somewhere in this... there is a lesson.
